If you drive into Eastport, just before our Post Office and our Dunkin Donuts, you’ll find the newly redesigned Island Bead & Trading Co.
Owner Debbie Foglia has rebranded her accessories, beads and gift shop and held a Grand Opening this past Sunday to celebrate new beginnings.
We stopped in to visit Debbie’s shop and congratulated her on her new endeavor. We’ve lived in Eastport for close to 15 years now, and we love our little town. Having beautiful businesses like Island Bead and Trading Co adds such life and value to our wonderful community.
If you’re a crafter or creator of jewelry and other beautiful accessories, then this is the store for you.
Beautiful beads and beading supplies are found in abundance here.
But what I loved most about Island Bead and Trading Co were the fun new products that Debbie’s wonderful store has to offer.
We personally will be back for the Surf Dust, which is equivalent to a bath bomb, but only better (and more economical since you can use as much or as little as you want per bath).
And I couldn’t help but admire the variety of scarves and accessories that graced each table and shelf. If you’re looking for a stylish and unique gift, then this is the store for you.
I’m a huge fan of shopping locally. And I don’t personally always have time to drive 20 minutes out to Riverhead or Patchogue, so I’m so excited to know that there is another fun store to check out when searching for gifts for friends and family.
Island Bead and Trading Co also carries some beautifully designed jewelry like these pieces:
“I really love supporting other artists” Debbie shared while pointing out these beautifully created rings and bracelet.
Perusing the shop, there were all sorts of colorful treasures to be found. I know in my heart that Island Bead and Trading Co will be a beautiful addition to Eastport. Debbie shared that she is also planning on offering beading and jewelry classes, so check out her website and Facebook for more details to come.
Congratulations to Debbie Foglia and Island Bead and Trading Co! I’m so thankful that I got to stop in and celebrate with her and her family (pictured is her handsome son Wyatt who came out from the City to support his mom on her grand opening).
If you’re in Eastport, you most definitely should stop by Island Bead and Trading Co and say hello! No matter what new and fun gift you’re looking for, you’re sure to find something beautiful and unique here!
