At Eastport Bible Church, on any given Thursday night, from 7:00pm-9:00pm you’ll find the greatest group of 7th-12th graders hanging out at our church for EBCYG (which stands for Eastport Bible Church Youth Group).
We officially kicked off our youth group year last night and it was awesome.
We started out with a card game mixer.
Because it was a fun way to get our leaders and students interacting and working together to win.
Afterwards, we loaded up the church bus and van (and a few leader cars) and headed over to Tuttle Avenue to use their gym for more games.
Here the teens played a few rounds of Boundary Ball.
This picture made me smile, because apparently post cross country meet he got pretty hungry and was happy that another student brought grapes she didn’t want. Don’t worry though, I went home and fed him again after youth group and he was good to go.
After games, we gathered together as a group for our worship time. It is the greatest thing ever to hear teens worshiping Jesus with songs that they love.
Because last night was our first night, we had a lot of things to go over. Jeremy invited our leadership team up and it made us so happy because this year we have a great group of our former Youth Group students who are now serving as leaders. We could not run this program without these amazing people and we love them all so much.
We are so excited about the great things that this year will bring for our youth group.
We are open to all students in 7th through 12th grades and you can always find more info about our youth group by going to www.ebcyg.com.
