Jingle all the way.
This morning was our 2016 Annual Jingle Bowl, and you might have thought that the rain would have kept us away…
But the answer to that would be, “Nope, it did not.”
Nor did it keep 26 youth group students and former youth group students away.
When I arrived at the field, the game was going strong.
It could be possible that the soaking wet rain just didn’t bother anyone because they were all wrapped up in the spirit of the Jingle Bowl.
One thing I know. This guy was pretty excited. So excited he dressed up like a Jingle Bowl Santa. And possibly so excited that he forget to get the memo out that others could dress up fun too.
Clearly being the only one in festive clothing didn’t stop him from having an incredible time. On a more serious note, I love this man and his passion for fun and flag football. After thirteen official years of Youth Ministry, you’d think he’d be slowing down a bit.
But then you see him in all of his Youth Ministry football glory and you realize he’s probably better than ever. And I truly do consider it an honor to keep serving Jesus alongside of him.
Back to the game.
I didn’t stay too long.
I mostly wanted to say “hi” to our awesome students
And then catch a few fun shots of the game.
And for the record, it rained the whole time.
Kudos to the kids who just made it look like a delightful morning of football.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our 2016 Jingle Bowl! Despite the cold and the rain, it was a wonderful morning and we were so glad to get to spend it with these awesome friends. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas Eve!!!
