I’m a portrait photographer. I take portraits for my clients that become these beautiful little glimpses into life at particular moments. Through the years, I’ve gotten to work with some of the most wonderful families. I met up with the Caldwells for the first time in 2009. I had just recently started my photography business and as with all of my clients that year, I felt such an appreciation that they had hired me to come and photograph their families.
The Caldwells were a fun family and I really enjoyed working with all four of their awesome kids.
We shot our session at their home and I remember being really happy with how all of the pictures came out.
To my delight, they asked me to do pictures for them again the following year.
As well as the year after that. This was Donald’s first year away at college. I remember thinking it was fun to see how much their kids had grown and also how much I enjoyed checking in on how everyone was doing.
I’d meet up again with the Caldwells a few years later.
And then again the year after.
And over the years we’d continue to catch up and capture moments and every time, I’d have such gratitude for a job that I loved that allowed me to be a part of my client’s lives.
This year was our 7th year of pictures.
This time it was Eric’s first year of college.
I’ve loved getting to know these kids over the years.
They’ve even been a part of our Youth Group and we truly do love getting to spend time with them, building relationships over the years.
Being a photographer is what I do and what I love most about it, is building the relationships as I capture moments of time through the years. A huge thanks to the Caldwells and to all of the amazing clients that allow me to be a part of their lives! I consider it a great honor and a blessing to be able to be a photographer, who loves great portraits, but more so, who loves working with amazing people who are not only great clients, but who also become great friends.
