Thanksgiving is now literally just around the corner, which for most means fun, food and family time. I’ll be honest, it’s always a personal favorite of mine. And then the day after that is one of the biggest shopping days of the year, Black Friday. In general, I don’t mind shopping, but have never been one of those fun (or crazy) out all night shoppers. Instead, I usually wait till things settle down and maybe hit a store or two on Friday afternoon.
So, if you’re looking for some non-crazy shopping fun, or if you’re the kind of shopper who goes out all Thursday night, and then spends Friday morning catching up on sleep so you can go out again later in the day, you will probably want to check out our very own Eastport’s Little Secret. And if you’re looking to wind down with some holiday shopping on Friday evening, between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm, owner Faye Michaelides has a special treat in store for you: A Wine and Cheese Shopping Night. “It’s just a fun way to get ready to celebrate the Holidays,” she explained with a smile, this afternoon.
Speaking of this afternoon, I drove over to Eastport’s Little Secret to capture some pictures of some of the fun treasures that the store has to offer for this year’s Holiday season.
The Hamsters could be found, all decked out in sweet little Santa hats.
And if you’re in need of everyone’s favorite Elf, you can find him just in time for his big December 1st reveal.
Eastport’s Little Secret even carries “Elf Pets,” who can keep your Elf company this year as he travels around your home stirring up all sorts of fun.
And Parents. You won’t always be moving an Elf around your home, but you can always remember this special and magical time in your children’s lives, with this sweet Elf ornament, ready to hang on your tree.
Wandering around the store, I couldn’t help but smile at all of the festive reminders of my favorite holiday.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Christmas and everything that it brings. I love finding special gifts for the many loved ones in my life.
These adorable and multifunctional Sock Ornaments are sure to bring a smile to anyone who appreciates the cozier things in life.
In addition to fun Holiday finds, Eastport’s Little Secret also had all sorts of sweet and unique gifts. I love their children’s section and we are always guaranteed to find the perfect gift for any occasion.
I actually bought one of these platters for a friend who then brought it to my house with some delicious banana bread this morning. She told me that she loves it and has used it many times already.
For the record, there is still one more day till Thanksgiving, so if you have time on Wednesday to stop by, you are sure to find the perfect gift for anyone hosting Thanksgiving day this year. I’m sure they would appreciate being rewarded for their hard work with a fun gift from Eastport’s Little Secret.
Seeing and feeling these slippers in real life I couldn’t help but want like five pairs knowing how cozy they would be on a cold winter morning.
Our daughter Ellee fell in love with these as well. She couldn’t decide which ones she liked best because they were all so adorable.
I’ve got to be honest. I’ve just highlighted some of the fantastic things that you can find at Eastport’s Little Secret.
There are so many treasures in this store, that you really do just have to stop in and check them out for yourself. So go ahead and enjoy these next few days of delicious food and thankfulness and time with loved ones. And when you wake up Friday morning and get ready to start your shopping for the Holidays, drive down to Eastport’s main street and check out Eastport’s Little Secret. Say “Hello” to Faye and browse around and see the beautiful things she has stocked her store with. There is absolutely something for everyone!
And again, if you’re looking for a nice way to wind down on Friday night, stop in from 4:00pm-7:00pm for Eastport’s Little Secret’s Wine and Cheese Shopping Night!
