Eastport’s Little Secret: June

I’ve known and loved Eastport’s Little Secret, owned and operated by the amazing Faye Michaelides for years.  Admittedly, it took me a few years of living in Eastport to actually go and check it out.  I’m not sure why exactly, except for the fact that while I always thought it looked like a fun shop, I just never made the time to go and check it out.  However, when I did, I instantly fell in love and have been a loyal customer ever since.

All that being said, I’m so excited to share that I have started a new partnership with this incredible store.  Each month, I’ll feature items on my blog and give you a glimpse inside this sweet Eastport establishment.  It will be a nice preview of the new and exciting items that Faye carries and something that I hope will be a benefit for everyone who reads these posts.

So here goes.

It’s officially summer on the calendar and officially summer inside of Eastport’s Little Secret.  Walk in the doors and you’ll instantly be greeted by the bright and beautiful turquoise hues of these fun summer tunics.

As I wandered around the store this morning, I continued to find fun gifts, consistent with the beach and summer theme.

This gift in particular totally caught my eye.  Being someone that frequents the beach, how fun would it be to have this holder to display shells collected all throughout the summer?

Eastport’s Little Secret is the absolute best place around to find that perfect gift for your friends and loved ones.  With school finishing up this week, last minute teacher gifts can be found and wrapped up in no time.  Which reminds me of how Eastport’s Little Secret will gift wrap any and all items which makes it perfect for a last minute shopper like myself.

Classic items, cutely stated are items that everyone will love.

Eastport’s Little Secret has the best Kids Section filled with all sorts of gifts.  This one caught my eye, since our kids will have their grandparents in town next week for a visit.  There were quite a few sweet grandparents to grandchildren gifts to choose from.

These would be sure to be a hit for the child in your life that loves to be comfy and fun.

Ellee was always a huge fan of the Beanie Boos, no matter how many times I told her I thought they were a little scary looking.  These minis were a much less scary version and sure to make the animal loving child in your life delighted.

And right next to them were these fun melting sharks.  With the shark being the Eastport Elementary School mascot, this would be the perfect gift to celebrate the end of school this week for local shoppers.

I thought these were just so adorable.  There was a good variety to chose from, but these summer themes would be cute for that special little one in your life.

There is also a great Wedding themed area in the store, filled with fun and unique items for the Bride to be and her Wedding Party.

And I know I’ve shared about these before.  But today, I bought myself one and couldn’t be happier.  They are simple but solid bracelets with inspirational sayings.  They can be stacked or worn alone.  I got a silver one that says, “Let your light shine,” and every time I saw it on my wrist today it made me smile.  Faye carries an incredible selection.

I personally love the prices at Eastport’s Little Secret.  Faye once shared that her motto was “Trendy, not Spendy,” and she really does stay true to that theme.

Finally, if you’re looking for a fun summer bag or pocketbook, you can find some fantastic ones displayed towards the back of the store.

To put it simply, everything in this store is fabulous and you should totally stop in to check it all out.

A few things to note.  I personally like to make sure that I plan ahead time wise so that I am not rushed when I look around.  There really is so much to see.  Secondly, Faye takes so much time and care to make sure each one of her customers is well taken care of.  She will wrap up every item for you (and at no extra cost!) and is just absolutely incredible.  That being said, there are times where you might have to wait a bit, depending on how busy the store it.  But being a customer for years, I will say that the wait is well worth while.

So there you have it.  It’s June and it’s summer and there are so many fun things to see at Eastport’s Little Secret!  Let’s all stop by this small town business and spread the love while shopping for awesome gifts to give our friends and loved ones.
