I originally wrote this two years ago, but wanted to repost in lieu of the upcoming Holidays. For years, I’ve been a fan of Eastport’s Little Secret and even stopped in there this evening to pick up a special Christmas gift for a friend. This sweet gift shop continues to be stocked with fun and affordable treasures for the most special people on your gift lists. And I have to say, the service and care given by owner Faye Michaelides continues to be top notch and a huge reason why I continue to do my shopping there.
With Christmas just around the corner, Eastport’s Little Secret is the perfect place to find that special gift. There is a wonderful selection of Alex and Ani as well as a full wall of Vera Bradley. It gets a bit busy in the evenings, but if you can sneak over there during the day, you won’t regret it. Chances are, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for, while shopping local and supporting a wonderful small business.
In our quiet little town of Eastport, settled between the Barber Shop and Luigi’s Main Street Pizza, is one of my favorite local stores, Eastport’s Little Secret.
If you’ve traveled down our main street, I’m sure you’ve driven by. But if you haven’t taken the time to stop and check it out, you should.
The owner, Fotini Michaelides, or “Faye” as she’s called by many, is so sweet and kind. I’ve talked with her on many occasions, and it’s clear that she has a passion for her business and a passion for people as well.
“My motto is Trendy, not Spendy,” she tells me with a beautiful smile. And I have to agree, it’s the perfect way to describe her amazing little shop, full of all kinds of gifts and treasures that are perfectly priced.
One of my favorite sections of the store is the Children’s area.

Yes, there are many times that we have parties to go to, and I just don’t feel like driving all the way to Riverhead. It’s on these occasions that stopping in to Eastport’s Little Secret is the perfect solution. Oh, and another perk is that every gift is beautifully wrapped in colorful tissue paper, and placed in a white bag bearing a gold Eastport’s Little Secret sticker with a colorful ribbon. So, if getting a nicely priced gift, wrapped up and ready fits in with your busy lifestyle, this store is for you.
