Christian is Eleven

This morning, we woke up to Grandpa’s Famous French Toast.  And it was kind of amazing.

Because Grandpa is really good at making his Famous French Toast.

And this morning, most importantly, we woke up to celebrate our son.  Because today, he turns eleven.

It’s hard to believe that we’re here sometimes.  I could not be happier being so blessed with kids that are happy and healthy and doing great things in life.

And this kid?  My heart is so full with love for him today.

Eleven seems awfully old but mostly I’m so thankful for eleven wonderful and hard and amazing and incredible years with our son.

I’m so proud of him for so many reasons.  He’s smart and funny and crazy and thoughtful and pretty much everything you hoped your pre-teen would be.  We have our moments, since we’re practically the same.  But overall…

We love him so incredibly much.

Christian’s birthday morning was awesome.  A quick picture with a lifelong friend.

And they were off to school… for a bit at least.  We’ll pick up our kids early for some fun birthday celebrations and I can’t wait to spend the rest of the day celebrating our son and his eleven years of living.

Happy Birthday Christian.  Mom and Dad love you so, so much!  We are so proud of you and who you are becoming.  We know that God has great things in store for you and pray that you will always seek Him first.  Thank you for being who you are, and again, we love you very much!

I love Jesus, my Youth Pastor Husband and our two beautiful children. I'm a professional photographer and I love people, especially kids. My best days include time with my family, Hot Yoga and a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cone.
