Generations

I love a good Generations picture.  So when my friend Vanessa contacted me to take one for her the beautiful women of her family, I was pretty excited.

I loved seeing sweet Hannah, complete in her pretty new glasses.

We took a few shots with just her and Mommy.  I loved this one, since it’s what my daughter does when she is feeling shy.  Thankfully, it didn’t phase Vanessa’s gorgeous smile.

And soon enough we were all friends again and Hannah was ready to go.

One of the main reasons for taking a generations portrait is that Vanessa’s beautiful Mom, Vernetta, was in town for a visit.  I understand the dynamics of Grandparents that live out of state, so it was extra special to be able to capture this picture for Vanessa’s family.

And finally, my favorite shot of the afternoon.  Four beautiful, amazing and strong generations.  A huge thanks to Vanessa and her beautiful family for taking time to capture such a precious moment in their lives.
