When I was in Michigan, I met up with my cousin Bethany and her sweet, sweet family.  We planned a portrait session and I have to say that I really appreciated her taking the time to capture treasured moments with her husband and sweet kids.

It was a joy to work with this family.  Their littlest was sweet and energetic and sat still just long enough to flash a cute smile or two before he was off to bigger and better things.

This handsome guy was next, with his fun hair and equally fun personality.

And we finished up with this darling girl.  I’m sure that she keeps busy being the big sister to two fun little brothers.

As I moved on to capture a few shots with Mom and Dad, we were interrupted for a few minutes when Westin decided that he wanted to check out what was going on.

And with a face this sweet, we let him have his moments with Mom and Dad before moving on.

It was a joy to work with Bethany and Dave.

They are an amazing couple and it was great to catch up with them as I clicked away.  And I should mention, Dave is an incredible Sports Artist.  He’s created amazing portraits of many famous athletes and he is so talented.  If you’re in the market, or just want to admire some great paintings, you can check out his work here.

All in all, we had a great session.  It was quick and easy and resulted in fun portraits that capture Bethany and her beautiful family, just where they are.  I loved that they took time for a portrait session which resulted in pictures that they can enjoy for years and years to come.

I love Jesus, my Youth Pastor Husband and our two beautiful children. I'm a professional photographer and I love people, especially kids. My best days include time with my family, Hot Yoga and a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cone.
