Today, Christian participated in his first ever 5K. It was a Color Run and it was right at ESM high school.
Before the race we caught up with a few of our colorful friends.
The kids, well everyone, had so much fun throwing around the packets of color.
The event was started with a pre-race picture. Surprisingly, this was everyone, relatively clean, especially in comparison to how everyone ended up.
Charlie was there with his game face on.
And by the start of the race, Christian was all colored up and ready to run.
I was so excited for him and for everyone else that ran.
I thought it was a pretty great turnout, considering it was the very first time that the school hosted their own Color Run.
Christian took off with a strong start.
And came in close to 29 minutes later, where he was greeted with a little bit of this,

And a lot of this. It was visually entertaining, to say the very least.
Afterwards, we stayed to cheer on some other friends that were just finishing up.
All in all, and for everyone…
It was a very colorful…
And awesome event. A huge, huge thanks to everyone who put on this year’s Color Run!
