Last night, we finally got out to see one of Jeremy’s softball games. Most Tuesday nights, Christian and Ellee have track, but with the holiday weekend they were off so we went out to cheer on the Eastport Ironmen.
It was a nice night for Softball. It’s still that perfect time of year where the bugs or the humidity aren’t too bad.
This girl was excited to be there.
And it was extra fun because we got to catch up with our friend Katie during the game as well.
The guys all did a great job.
And in case you were wondering, that is Ellee’s smile after her mom (against her better judgement) tells her that she and her brother can have Fun Dips. For the record, I totally ate them when I was younger, but for the other record, I wasn’t the one paying for my dental bills at that time. Either way, they were pretty excited about their fun treat so I was happy for them.
Over all, it was a fun evening with friends.
And afterwards, these guys took the opportunity for an impromptu Spike Ball game.
If you’ve never heard of Spike Ball, it’s pretty awesome. It’s kind of like Volleyball on the ground. It’s hard to capture the fun and constant motion in a picture, but you’ll have to take my word for it.
All in all, I’m thankful for a great night outdoors. These days and weeks leading up to summer are packed full, but always with good things and I’m really working hard to enjoy them and to take everything in with gratitude.
