So, this weekend was spend up in Concord, Massachusetts with our family’s family. I suppose I should clarify. Aunt Viv and Uncle Dave and their beautiful children are Matt’s family, making them Ky’s family. Therefore, our family’s family.
We arrived Friday evening, just in time for birthday dinner for cousin Sam. While waiting for a table at Outback to open, Jae decided to check out the Marshall’s next door.
I can’t get enough of this sweet girl. Everywhere she goes, people just love her.
Post dinner, was spent catching up on some valuable cousin time.
It was so sweet to see all the love. Because when you don’t get to see family very often, times spent together are so, so precious.
After a great night’s sleep, we woke up to enjoy a beautiful day in Concord.
It started with this. Which is one of those things that will translate to something like, “Well, when you were a baby, Jae, you totally took a ride on our family’s dog.” A great memory, if you ask me. Both Lucy and Jae seemed to enjoy it for awhile at least.
After dog riding shenanigans, we headed out to enjoy the sweet town of Concord.
We found a local cheese shop and took this picture to commemorate it.
Because local cheese shops are kind of awesome, if you ask me.
We shopped around town for awhile, stopping to enjoy these awesome potted plants that were everywhere. Concord is obviously one of those places that takes pride in making their main street super cute.
And after that, just more family time.
Because no matter how many mile separate you, family is just the best.
And I’m so thankful, because we really did have such a great time with our family’s family.
