So, this morning until noon, you can head over to Tuttle Avenue School and check out the Toy Sale that is going on. It was the wonderful idea of these amazing kids and all of the proceeds will go to buy new toys for Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.
We stopped in this morning and it was a wonderful sight to see.
Ellee quickly found a friend and they were off, checking out all of the toys together.
It was fun to bump into these familiar faces. Ms. Jaffe and Principal Koliadko were there greeting families and it was really sweet to see the amazing staff support that was present at the sale.
All of the toys were collected from donations taken over the past month. I know for me and my family, it was a good opportunity to clean out and donate to a great cause.
And to whomever donated the Moon Shoes… You are awesome. I remember wanting these so badly when I was in elementary school. I was tempted to buy them today, but figured at 34 years old, they might not quite be as fun.
This little guy also brought me back to my growing up years. I never had one and always through they were just a little bit scary.
There is still a great selection of toys available.
So if you want to get out of the house on a cold and snowy morning, you should drive out to Tuttle Avenue to check out the Toy Sale.
You can also pick up a few boxes of Girl Scout Cookies from these sweet girls if you want.
A huge thanks to the amazing kids and the teachers who helped to make this sale a reality.
I’ve been blessed to know the Romaine Family for years and I think that they are absolutely amazing for having the dream and desire to put this all together.
They are a fantastic family and I know that they will be a huge blessing to the children of Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.
Our kids had a great time and found some fun toys and are currently both enjoying them as I write.
So go. Check it out. Support this amazing boy and his dream to help other children. You’ll definitely be glad that you did.
Great photos and description of the toy sale!! It was a great success!!
