Clients Who Become Friends

So, many years ago, when I first started my photography business, this sweet little boy was one of my very first clients.

He was absolutely darling and his session gave me the confidence that I needed to really get my business going.  So thanks, sweet baby Sean.

His wonderful Mama would call me up in the years that followed, to come and photograph her sweet boys.

I got to capture one year old smiles.

And those tricky toddler years as well.

My favorite pictures were the ones of the brothers.  Because friends come and go, but your family.  Your family is there forever.

So, you can imagine my delight when their still amazing Mama called me up and asked me if I could photograph her incredible boys once more.

They were absolutely perfect for our mini session.  Big brother David told me the secret.  “If I’m good, then we can get done really quick,” he shared.  He was absolutely right.

At the end of our session, I quickly convinced their awesome parents to humor me and let me capture a quick family shot.  Even though I know they weren’t planning on it.  Because in all honesty, they’ll want to remember these days all together.  So whenever I can, I always try to get parents to capture one or two shots, just for the sake of remembering it all.

I’m so thankful to say that over the years, many of my clients have become so much more.  They’ve become friends.  And I continue to be so thankful that they trust me to capture their precious moments, knowing how quickly they will pass by.

I love Jesus, my Youth Pastor Husband and our two beautiful children. I'm a professional photographer and I love people, especially kids. My best days include time with my family, Hot Yoga and a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cone.
