Yesterday, the 3rd through 6th Graders of our church met up again for their very own Kids Church.
Kids Church meets up once a month. While the adults meet upstairs listening to a sermon by Pastor Jerry or Pastor Jeremy, the kids go downstairs to meet up for their own church.
Kids Church was led this month by Christian and his friend Marc Paskiewicz.
They started out with a game of Charades. Kate was acting out “thinking,” and she did a pretty awesome job at it.
I love Kids Church. I get to sit in with them as the responsible adult, but mostly just observer. I love seeing their excitement at doing something that is their very own.
I love seeing them teach each other.
And I love seeing them actively engage in opening and reading the Bible.
Kids Church was fantastic this month. The kids had a fun time meeting together and learning more about God. I’m so proud of them. When I asked for a quick group picture, and this is what I got, I shrugged my shoulders and thought, well, at least it’s authentic to their fun and lively personalities.
Great Job Marc and Christian! It was very cool to see these young guys step up and make something great happen for the kids in our church.
