So, Happy New Year, and in case you were wondering, we have been spending the past few days, with our amazing family in Arizona. It’s been a beautiful whirlwind of all sorts of fun and good memories, but for the time being, I’ll have to merely share some iPad pictures, along with a few words, until I’m able to get home and edit through the pictures I’ve taken on my good camera.
Family time has been fantastic. Our kids are absolutely loving the time they are spending with their Arizona cousins.
And we are all loving the time that we are getting with our newest cousin, Baby Jae.
Pardon the random pictures, but it definitely made me smile when I checked out Heather’s Christmas cards and saw a few familiar faces. I kind of failed with the Christmas cards this year, and most of them arrived after Christmas, but I suppose it’s okay. I was super happy with how they turned out and glad that I took time to get them done in the midst of a very busy season.
Moving on. Ellee had a blast today, playing all sorts of fun games with Uncle Matt. And I have to say that it’s always so heart warming to me, to see their aunts and uncles loving them and taking time to just hang out with them.
Our trip worked out well, because Nana and Papa are also here from Seattle. So it’s been a great Herr family reunion of sorts.
All in all, we’ve been having a very nice vacation. This guy has been having a blast with his family and relaxing a bit too. As I look back, it’s been a pretty busy year, so I’m glad we got to end it with a little time away. Again, I’m looking forward to sharing more soon, but for now, am just enjoying a great time with family and a nice time to relax, reflect and reenergize for a brand new, beautiful year.
