Kind of Amazing

So, after an adventurous day of travel yesterday, I finally made it to Michigan, safe and sound.  And it was all in the hopes of being there for the birth of my sister Sarah’s fifth baby.  And much to my delight, it all worked out just fine.

Simeon Levi Rosenow, was born this afternoon at 2:23pm.  I was able to be with my sister, who was an absolute rockstar in the Labor and Delivery room.  I took a lot of pictures with my big camera but will have to wait till I get home to edit through them.  For now, it’s just a few iPad shots and lots of baby holding and cuddling.  I get to stay overnight tonight at the hospital with Sarah to help her with the baby and I couldn’t be happier.  Just thanking God for sweet baby Simeon and his safe and wonderful arrival.

Also, he’s kind of adorable, even when he cries.  Which for the record was not very long before Aunt Laura rescued him.  He just had a bath and smells delicious and I need to go so I can get every cuddle in that I can.
