Hangtime

I am so excited to share that this fall, Eastport Bible Church will be offering a new after school program called Hangtime for children in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.  And we really want your children to come and hang out with us.  We’ll give them a snack, help them with homework, teach them a little about Jesus and provide a variety of sports, arts and skills workshops that they can participate in.

Here’s the details.  The program starts October 1, 2014 and will run through the school year every Wednesday afternoon.  If your child attends Eastport Elementary or Tuttle Avenue, our staff will be available to pick them up right from school and bring them to the program so you don’t have to worry about after school transportation.  I have amazing certified teachers and helpers who will be on hand to help them with any homework while they enjoy an after school snack.  We’ll teach them about how much Jesus loves them and how amazing they are.  And then, they will be able to participate in a variety of workshops.  Some of our workshops will include sports, arts and crafts, cooking and acting classes.  Hangtime ends at 5:30pm and parents can pick up their children right at Eastport Bible Church, which is conveniently located across the street from Eastport Elementary.

This is a free program.  And our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment where children can learn and grow and be amazing.  I, Laura Herr, will be directing this program and if you have any questions at all, you can feel free to contact me through Facebook, or my email: lauraherr8@gmail.com.  At the end of this week, I will be mailing an information packet for parents who want to sign up their children for this program.  If you would like your child or children to participate in our program, please just let me know and we would love to have them join us!
