Just some pictures from Day 2 of our VBS. It was a great morning, of beautiful children, learning and doing wonderful things. A few things to note: The bags of change were the result of our Change for Children change drive. For the third year in a row we will be sending the change to the orphans at the Paradise Orphanage in Burkina Faso, West Africa. The money will go to provide food, clothing, housing and education for the 122 orphans that live their. Our children all did a wonderful job of bringing in their coins. Secondly, children can still be signed up for VBS throughout the week. We are actually having “Bring a Friend Thursday” where kids who bring friends will get the joy of sharing VBS with others as well as a candy prize. So if you know of a child who might enjoy a fun morning out, bring them to Eastport Bible Church for VBS, 9:00am each morning. And finally, just so you know, overall, VBS is going well. I’ve only been able to share pictures of our opening, since I head out with the Sixth Graders afterwards for our pool time, but tomorrow I will be staying to capture a broader picture of what our program has to offer.
Thanks so much for checking in!
A photo moment of the best song ever. We brought, “Cristo Es Mi Superheroe” back from Costa Rica to our VBS program and it’s catching on quickly. Google it to hear the best Spanish Jesus song ever.
