I realized this is my second post in a row about something church related. Probably because we have a pretty amazing church and we do all sorts of fun things with all sorts of fun people. Moving on. Tonight, was the first game of our Church Softball Playoffs.
We all showed up to cheer on our guys.
I have to say, we have a pretty awesome men’s softball team. Jeremy has played for quite a few years now, and it’s always been a highlight of our summer.
The men played a solid game tonight.
As I mentioned before, we had a beautiful crowd of beautiful people.
They were all there to cheer the men on.
It was these sweet baby girls first softball game. They were there to be loved on by everyone and to cheer on their Daddy.
Photo credit to our beautiful friend, Dodie. She captured Ellee holding one of the twins. It was momentous, because Ellee claims that the only babies she would hold are her cousins. She broke down tonight and ended up with a sweet little friend to hold.
Okay, back to the game. The men played strong and ended up winning the game, by a lot I think. To be honest, I spent half of the game chatting with friends and holding sweet babies and somehow missed the final score. Either way, they won their first playoff game and will be playing again tomorrow night.
A huge congratulations to the Eastport Ironmen and we wish you the very best in the games to come!
