Church Picnic 2014

Today was our annual Church Picnic.  And it’s always one of my favorite Sunday afternoons of the year.  What follows are lots of pictures from our amazing afternoon of food, fun and good old church fellowship.

I overheard Christian tell his friends that hunting for spider crabs would take lots of chicken, and lots of patience.  They were successful and caught at least one crab that just couldn’t resist some delicious church picnic chicken.

These little ones had a great time watching the big ones play volleyball.

Quick note about our friend, Scott.  For the past eleven years that we’ve known him, he’s been amazing, and hard working and extremely driven.  Catching him sitting down to just chill for a moment is a rarity, so I thought it would be good to capture it in a picture.

Still waiting patiently.

And this couple?  So cute, of course, but so awesome as well.  Kristine is getting ready to head out on the missions field in September, when she leaves for three months to serve in Nicaragua.  She’s a pretty amazing young lady and we love her so much.

All in all, it was a great day for a church picnic.  We have the most wonderful church family at Eastport Bible Church and it was awesome being able to spend the afternoon with them all.

I love Jesus, my Youth Pastor Husband and our two beautiful children. I'm a professional photographer and I love people, especially kids. My best days include time with my family, Hot Yoga and a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cone.
