Vacation Bible School 2014

Summer is here.  And strangely, it seems like it’s flying by already.  All that being said, I wanted to write up a post to share that Eastport Bible Church will be hosting it’s annual Vacation Bible School during the week of August 4th-8th.  It’s a Monday through Friday program that starts at 9:00am and ends at 12:00 noon each day.  The program is open for children from Pre-K through 6th grade (preschoolers must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2014).  Children will enjoy a variety of games and activities and they will have fun learning about Jesus too.  Also, the Fifth and Sixth Grade students (since they are older) get to go off site and enjoy swimming activities at homes close to the church throughout the week.  Oh, and another bonus, the program is totally free.  There is no cost at all to attend.

Now that all the details have been shared, let me share a little from my heart as a Mom.  My kids, as wonderful and beautiful as they are, usually get a little restless as the summer goes by.  VBS for our family has always been a nice start to the last month of summer vacation.  Our kids have always enjoyed getting together with friends at VBS.  They enjoy the songs, the activities and the snacks of course.  It’s a fun and safe environment where they are encouraged and challenged and it’s so good for their hearts.

Here are some pictures from last year’s program.  If you have any questions, you can feel free to message me: or call the church at 325-8164.  If you like, you can pre-register, or just come a little early on Monday morning and register right at the church.  We would absolutely love to have your children join us for a fun-filled week.

I love Jesus, my Youth Pastor Husband and our two beautiful children. I'm a professional photographer and I love people, especially kids. My best days include time with my family, Hot Yoga and a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream cone.
