For the majority of the day, I kind of forgot that it was the Fourth of July. I suppose it makes sense when you consider that we are in Costa Rica and apparently they don’t celebrate our Independence Day. Anyhow, I’m happy to share that today was awesome. Out entire team enjoyed the closing day for Belen’s Kids Games. Here are some pictures, and I’ll have to save the explanations for later, because it’s late and I could use some good rest. Tomorrow will be a work day/watch the World Cup with the Costa Ricans day. We’re all pretty excited. Besides that, everyone is well and we are looking forward to our last few days serving here.

Even though we didn’t get to celebrate the Fourth in our usual ways, we still had an amazing day. We enjoyed closing ceremonies at Belen and one of the girls in the church made us this beautiful American Flag cake. That being said, it was an incredible day.
